Table Rock Ranch

Southern Colorado

Table Rock Ranch, located in a pristine Colorado valley, was acquired by clients who wished to convert the existing structures into a fly fishing camp, to better make use of the three-mile-long trout stream that runs throughout the length of the property. Preservation of the property’s scenic beauty was of the utmost importance when approaching this project. We developed a simple aesthetic vocabulary for the ranch that would compliment this natural environment without drawing too much attention from the rolling, sparsely timbered landscape. The resulting buildings can function individually or as a whole, as the demands of the ranch change alongside the ever-shifting seasons.

“We were greatly inspired by the simple, intuitive architecture that stands in some of Colorado’s greatest national parks, and tried to carry that inspiration through to this equally park-like environment.”
